Yacht Interior Designer: renewable materials & considered craft

I'm Leon, an emerging yacht interior designer from Salzburg. I grew up between the Alps and the Salzach, close to the lakes, forests and workshops that shape how I think about materials.

I'm studying Timber Construction & Wood Technology at Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, learning how wood, the most renewable material a designer can work with, is sourced, engineered and made to last.

Alongside my studies I develop yacht interior concepts: calm, light-filled spaces built from certified timbers, natural fibres, cork and low-impact finishes. Work in customer service and insurance taught me to listen first, and to design for the people who will live with the result.
